The Bubble, creating a controlled environment for marine archeology
The Bubble is a steel structure used to create a controlled environment for marine archeology.
For difficult situations with extreme currents, RWMT has developed a stainless steel cage called “the bubble”. It is constructed to withstand extreme currents and provide a safe and protected working environment for the divers, resulting in more productive dives. The divers work inside the bubble, and as currents usually bring low visibility, it is possible to pump clear surface water down inside the closed environment to improve the low visibility. When diving in cold water, we can even pump down warmer water for more endurance.
