Visiting the Galápagos Islands' only clinic with a hyperbaric chamber
Representatives from RWMT visit the only private clinic with a hyperbaric chamber in Galápagos.
The purpose of the visit was to explore the possibility of hyperbaric treatment of RWMT's divers, in the event of an incident. Hyperbaric chambers are used for pressure related incidents as well as for hyperbaric oxygen treatment of wounds. Normally, one patient at the time is treated in the hyperbaric chamber.
The clinic treats both tourists and locals depending on availability.
